Fear and mistrust are the norm, because they appeal to a primal part of our DNA. But we are more than DNA, and we are more than our base instincts. To no longer fear each other requires courage, to love each other requires trust. Courage and trust are sophisticated virtues that allow us to cooperate, think long term, and make each other better than just the sum of our parts. 

There is no greater time for courage and trust, because we are infinite. When you feel the connection to millions of people, we become greater than human, and connect with the universe on a higher plane. 

We all have the capacity to be cynical, and let our fear and our skepticism sneak in. Fight the urge with love and strive for the best world we can create. You are not alone.
